Digging these pictures from
Anthropologie's July Catalog. They strongly remind me of Tom's room in 500 Days of Summer. I love how a mini chalkboard is used as a headboard in the first photo. The floor is a little intense though -- I'm not so sure how I feel about a hand-drawn rug.
...oh, and apparently
chalkboard tables are
next. DIY time, anyone?

When I was younger and spending lots of time with my grandmother, she was toying with the idea of buying a new house where I could have my own room. I wanted to put something magnetic on one wall, a blank wall I could graffiti, and one chalkboard wall. Apparently I was ahead of my time! haha
ReplyDeleteI had forgotton about the chalkboard headboard in 500 Days of Summer, but I really liked it too. I just got the Anthro catalog in the mail and hadn't looked through it yet, you just gave me a wonderful preview :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I grow up, I will have chalk board between my kitchen counters and cabinet - like a foot-wide chalk board running the length of my kitchen. I saw it somewhere a while ago and wanted it since...
I am liking the whole chalk-board trend at the moment. I would love some around the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI have chalk in my room! It's lovely because I am constantly changing it to fit my mood.
ReplyDeleteSo, I am moving to India this year to volunteer. I'm so so so excited about it and am going to be working in rural areas trying to provide basic services that we all take so much for granted. It is going to be an amazing trip and I'm fundraising for it right now!
If you spread the word you get a MOOD RING!
Pretty sweet eh? :)
