I've been on a bit of a post-Thanksgiving health kick, so I've been downing smoothies left and right to get that extra nutritional boost. A smoothie is also the perfect recovery drink after an intense workout. The recipe for this smoothie has been adapted from one I found over at Lululemon.
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
a few dashes of pumpkin pie spice
a handful of chopped dates
1/2 tsp maca powder
1/2 tsp chia seeds
Add all ingredients to blender and puree. Enjoy!
My favorite way to find smoothie recipes is to browse pinterest, although I'm also pretty obsessed with Summer Sanders' instagram right now -- so many delicious and healthy looking smoothies.

Sometimes you just need a little luxury. Here's a few fancy things that would make great gifts (or treats for yourself!). I'm really into beige, gold, and white right now.
My idea of a perfect weekend. Staying home and getting cozy. Take a long bath, throw on some pajamas, give yourself a manicure, pop some popcorn, light a candle, read a book, put a record on, catch up on work from home.
I deleted my previous post because I just couldn't give up this little blog. I'm back. I'm not sure how frequently I'll be updating but I'm here to stay. Thanks for reading!
