I would like to take this moment to point out the obviousness which dozens of other people have probably pointed out already. Balmain S/S 09 = MICHAEL JACKSON. That collection was made for or inspired by him, no bones about it. Michael had the right look GOING ON. Studs and glitter and crazy marching band/military jackets and all that jazz are all Michael's doing or Christophe's doing because of Michael. Sorry bros, but he gets all the credit...at least as far as this year's Balmain collection goes. I mean, this is probably my favorite look to sweep the runway since Alex Wang's A/W 08 collection. It's just really fun looking at the comparisons, even if it's already been brought up 2839403289 times.
